I have to admit, Old Faithful in winter is not as spectacular as on a clear, warm summer day. There is too much steam in the air prior to and during the eruption that it is very difficult to see how high the eruption of water really is. Nevertheless, it’s a much more enjoyable time to view the geyser since there are fewer people pushing and shoving for a view in the dead of winter.
